HOHANK Site-wide Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers the Chinese, English and Spanish pages under hohankpower.com, including commercial backup power, mining power, products, industries, cases, blogs, services and contact pages. The Privacy Policy and Cookie settings links in the footer apply across both business sections.

2. Information we process

• Information you provide: your name, company, country or region, email, telephone, WhatsApp or other contact details, together with project requirements supplied through a form, email or conversation.
• Visitor ID: the site may generate a random identifier in local browser storage to associate contact or conversion actions from the same browser. It is not a name or government identifier, but it is a pseudonymous identifier that can recognize the same browser over time.
• Session ID and landing page: the site may generate a random session identifier and save the first page visited in session storage to understand the contact path within one visit. This information normally expires when the browser session ends or the relevant storage is cleared.
• UTM and advertising attribution: if a link contains utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, or advertising click parameters such as gclid, gbraid or wbraid, the site may keep those values for the session to identify inquiry sources and campaign performance.
• Analytics data: after you consent, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity may process page visits, device and browser information, approximate region, clicks, scrolling, interactions, and information needed for session replay or heatmaps.
• Necessary preferences: local storage is used to remember your privacy choice; some functions may also remember language or interface preferences.

3. Why we use this information

• To respond to inquiries, engineering-support requests, product configuration and after-sales needs;
• to identify the page, campaign or channel that generated an inquiry and measure conversion performance;
• to operate core site functions and remember privacy or interface preferences;
• with consent, to analyze visits and interactions, identify page problems and improve content and usability;
• to prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and protect the site.

4. GA4 and Microsoft Clarity

GA4 is provided by Google for traffic and conversion analytics; this site enables the IP-anonymization option. Microsoft Clarity is provided by Microsoft for click, scroll, heatmap and session-interaction analysis. Both are optional analytics services and load only after you accept analytics or save analytics as enabled. Relevant information may be processed on Google or Microsoft infrastructure and is subject to their respective privacy terms.

5. Contact forms, attribution and sharing

When you submit a form or trigger a contact action, the site may send the visitor ID, session ID, source page, landing page and available UTM attribution fields with the request so that an engineer can understand the inquiry context. Information is disclosed only to the HOHANK team handling the request, website hosting or form providers needed to deliver it, and analytics providers enabled with your consent. We do not process website visitor information for the purpose of selling it.

6. Retention and international processing

Your privacy choice and visitor ID remain in browser storage until you clear that storage or the site replaces the identifier. Session IDs, landing pages and UTM attribution normally expire when the browser session ends or session storage is cleared. Contact and project records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to follow up the request, provide service, resolve disputes, and meet legitimate business or legal requirements. Because our operations and providers may be in different countries, information may be processed internationally.

7. Your choices

• You can accept or reject analytics on your first visit and change the choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
• If you reject analytics, this site will not load GA4 or Clarity. Necessary storage still saves your choice and supports core functions.
• Clearing cookies, local storage or session storage removes the corresponding identifiers and preferences, and the site may ask for your choice again.
• You may choose not to submit a contact form and instead use the email or WhatsApp option shown on the site.

8. Security, children and policy updates

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the size of the site and nature of the information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This business and engineering site is not directed to children. If site functions, providers or data practices change materially, we will update this policy and its effective date.
