Why This Design: Recovery Priorities Matter More Than Simply Increasing Generator Capacity
Restore immediately: incubators, brooding climate control, minimum ventilation, controllers and alarms. Stage next: auxiliary heating, additional ventilation, washing and zoned lighting. Delay: offices, noncritical storage and schedulable equipment.
The generator, ATS, low-voltage distribution, control power, fuel runtime and remote alarms must form one testable chain. A simulated outage should confirm not only generator start, but also end equipment, control parameters and notification paths.
