School backup does not need the most complex system; it needs basic checks that a non-specialist team can perform: fuel level, batteries, cooling, controller alarms, ATS status, panel labels and test-run records.
Include remote monitoring, scheduled local inspections, spare-parts packages, operator training and a fault-reporting template in handover. New staff can then follow a checklist instead of relying on their predecessor’s memory.
