Map the complete fuel path
Identify delivery vehicles, bulk tanks, transfer pumps, filters, day tanks, supply and return lines, drains and sample points before assigning controls.

Control water and sediment in storage
Temperature cycles, humid air, rain and long residence can accumulate bottom water and deposits. Drainability, vent protection and inspection must match the site.

Make transfer filtration maintainable and provable
A filter is not permanent insurance. Bypass, differential condition, element replacement, pump suction and temporary hoses affect delivered fuel.

Close problems with trends and evidence
High drain volumes, rapid filter plugging or similar power problems across several sets should trigger a batch and path review, not isolated parts replacement.
