The pre-peak priority is not to redesign the entire system, but to verify the installed system: will it start, will it transfer, is fuel sufficient, are alarms clear, and are spare parts and service ready?
Configuration Review: System Availability Before Peak Days
Review generator batteries, fuel, cooling, controller alarms, running hours and recent maintenance, together with ATS transfer, low-voltage distribution, critical circuits and load changes during the event.
- Peak dates, event type, projected attendance and extended operating hours.
- Added event loads, temporary booths, stages, food service and parking demand.
- Generator-run and ATS-transfer records, tank level and spare-parts kit.
- Need for local engineer standby or enhanced remote monitoring.
Why This Design: Peak-Day Inspection Must Become an Operating Action
Pre-peak inspection is not solely a maintenance task; it is an operational assurance action. Generator runs, ATS transfers, fuel confirmation, alarm checks, spare-parts kits and service-response boundaries must be confirmed before the event.
If temporary events add substantial lighting, sound, food-service or booth loads, engineers must decide whether they belong on backup power or should remain separate from life-safety and transaction loads to protect critical capacity.

- Schedule of holidays, promotions, exhibitions, cinema peaks and major events.
