How Should Hot Surfaces, Rotating Parts, Noise and Personnel Protection Be Reviewed?

A running generator exposes people to heat, moving components, pressurized fluids and noise. Safe observation depends on intact guards, controlled access and site-approved protection—not closer inspection while the set is operating.

Fans, belts, couplings and exhaust components may remain hazardous during operation and cool-down. Noise and vibration can also hide developing mechanical conditions or prevent clear communication.
